Lucrecia Dalt: A Danger to Ourselves — Live Performance with Public Erotic

$20 Advance | $25 at the Door: TICKETS HERE
The Institute of Contemporary Art Santa Fe is proud to present a rare live performance by visionary composer and performer Lucrecia Dalt, following the release of her acclaimed new album A Danger to Ourselves (RVNG Intl.). This special evening marks the first time the album will be performed live in New Mexico, offering audiences a fully embodied encounter with Dalt’s cinematic, rhythm-forward compositions.

Renowned for her genre-defying soundscapes and conceptual precision, Dalt’s practice weaves modular electronics, poetic voicework, and complex rhythms into an intricate sonic architecture. A Danger to Ourselves will be performed live by Lucrecia Dalt on vocals, electric guitar, and electronics; Jonah Minkus on drums and percussion; and Cyrus Campbell on electric bass and contrabass.

The evening opens with Public Erotic, a fusion of folk-noise, devotional singing, and experimental auditory loomwork. Traversing the edges of frequency—where soundshapes strain toward language—a liturgical failure-song: a place where undoing becomes testimony.
